Our Hochfeldhof is located on a sunny hill in Rohrberg, onliy 2,5 kilometres from Zell am Ziller. In a quiet and idyllic location, you can relax with your loved ones in the middle of nature. Our farm is the perfect base camp for excursions into the Zillertal mountains as the valley stations of Rosenalmbahn and Karspitzbahn are only a few minutes’ walk away or a free ski bus ride. BY TRAIN
Get to Zillertal in comfort by train
The train is a convenient alternative to the car. You travel comfortably and stress-free – and you also save on CO₂ emissions compared to travelling by car: according to ÖBB, a train journey emits only around 5 grams of CO₂ per passenger-kilometre – whereas a car emits around 179 grams (as of September 2026).
Enjoy your train ride to Jenbach station. From there, the Zillertalbahn will take you to Zell am Ziller. Once you arrive, we would be happy to pick you up.
Use public transport not only for getting here, but also during your stay. With the excellent network of buses, trams and regional trains, you can explore your holiday experiences comfortably and flexibly.
Innsbruck Main Station is one of the most important transport hubs in Tyrol and offers numerous national and international direct connections, for example from Austria, Germany, Italy and Switzerland. You can find up-to-date timetables, connections and tickets on the website of the Austrian Federal Railways.
BY CAR
Arrival with “Vignette” motorway toll: Coming from Munich, take the Inntal motorway A12 to the motorway exit Wiesing/Zillertal and continue on the main road (B 169) to Zell am Ziller.
Turn left at the Zell Nord exit and turn left again before the valley station. After approx. 500 metres, turn half-right towards the hill and follow the road for approx. 250 metres. You’ve arrived – park and get ready to feel good!
We recommend that you take the Inntal motorway A12 via Rosenheim and Kufstein when travelling from Munich, rather than taking the route via Holzkirchen, Lenggries and Achenkirch. On the route via Achenkirch, you must expect significant delays and traffic jams, particularly during peak travel times.
Although there is a small toll on the route via the A12 motorway and the Kufstein/Kiefersfelden border crossing, this will help you avoid significant traffic jams. In addition, the journey time via Kufstein/Kiefersfelden is shorter than via the Achenpass and the Achenkirch route.
BY PLANE
The nearest airports are in Innsbruck (approx. 70 kilometres away), Munich (approx. 190 kilometres away), and Salzburg (approx. 170 kilometres away). The train or airport taxi will then take you to Zell am Ziller. We would gladly organise a taxi to our Hochfeldhof for you!

Hochfeldhof is located in the municipality of Rohrberg near Zell am Ziller in Zillertal, in a quiet valley setting with views of the Zillertal Alps. Zell am Ziller is just a few minutes’ drive away. Hochfeldhof is easy to reach by car via the Zillertal road (B169). Alternatively, the nearest train station is around 2.5 kilometres away, and the nearest bus stop is about 0.5 kilometres from Hochfeldhof.
Is there free parking at Hochfeldhof?
Yes, guests have access to free covered parking under the carport, as well as a free underground garage for vehicles up to 2.15 metres in height.
What are the check-in and check-out times at Hochfeldhof?
Regular check-in is from 3. p.m., and on your departure day we ask you to vacate the apartment by 10 a.m. at the latest. If you arrive earlier, you’re welcome to use the garden, pool area, or lounge in the meantime.
Is there a ski bus from Hochfeldhof?
Yes, the ski bus stops right outside Hochfeldhof. It takes around 8 minutes to reach the Karspitzbahn in the Zillertal Arena and about 10 minutes to reach the Rosenalmbahn – so you won’t need your own car during your ski holiday.
How far is the Zillertal Arena from Hochfeldhof?
The Zillertal Arena with the Karspitzbahn is around 600 metres from Hochfeldhof, and the Rosenalmbahn is about 1.1 kilometres away.
